Week of August 3 - Product Update & Bug Fixes

Since the v3 migration kicked off, we've been closing the gaps between the legacy platform and the new one. Here's what shipped in the last two weeks.

    Events

Make a copy of an event You can now make a copy of any event from the event actions menu. The copy carries over the name, description, cycle, goal, host, co-hosts, organizer, calendar, and invite list — then drops in as a draft scheduled one week out, so you can tweak and re-send recurring events without rebuilding them from scratch.

Create and approve events without a calendar connected If you use Chezie to track events you host rather than to send calendar invites, you're no longer blocked. Events can now be created, saved as drafts, and approved without a Google or Microsoft calendar connected. When a calendar is connected it's auto-selected as the organizer as before; when it isn't, you can still approve and report on the event with invite-sending simply turned off.

Self-serve attendance upload Admins can now upload historical or manual event attendance data directly in the platform — no more emailing the support team to get it in. This is especially useful for teams that don't have their calendar integration live yet.

    Groups & Sharing

Copy a shareable link to any group's landing page The "share with a colleague" workflow from the old platform is back. Each group's landing page now has a copy-link option so members can pass a group's page along directly.

    Communications

Sorting in the Communications module Sorting now works beyond the Members module. You can sort the Communications module the same way you already sort members, making it easier to find and manage sends.

    Forms

Clickable links in join form descriptions Paste a URL into a join form question description and it now renders as a clickable hyperlink — no more copying and pasting links out to open them.
